In addition
to the Evening Events on the Social Programme, the following
excursions are available for partners. Please indicate your
choice on the delegate registration form.
Cape Town Orientation
Participants will gain insight into the history, culture and
architecture of the city of Cape Town and take in the unsurpassed
views from sites all around the City Bowl. The package will
include a city tour and a trip up Table Mountain on the Cableway,
weather permitting. (Cableway admission of ZAR 115.00 payable
on the day.)
Robben Island
Famous for Nelson Mandela’s incarceration there, this
island offers an emotional and informative visit. A short
ferry ride from the V&A Waterfront transports participants
to and from the island and also provides a great view of the
City and Table Mountain. Participants will gain insight into
South Africa’s apartheid history and the remarkable
success story of its transformation.
